Silvio is a specialist in impact assessment and analysis of productivity and efficiency, with a PhD in Econometrics and Applied Economics from the University of Rome Tor Vergata. Silvio has significant experience in the design and analysis of impact evaluations of social programs and rural development interventions, including how conditional transfer programs affect the quality of life of the households that receive them, as well as their productive activities, labor distribution, risk management, food security and nutrition.

Noemí is an associate professor at the University of Terramo and an economist at FAO, where she conducts impact assessment analysis of agricultural and social protection interventions. She is also a researcher at the UCL Centre for Global Health Economics and the Centre for Economic and International Studies at the University of Tor Vergata, as well as a Research Associate at the Centre for Health Policy at Stanford University.

PAMELA POZARNY

Pamela is part of FAO’s social protection analysis team and is currently based in Ghana leading qualitative research on the impact evaluation of the Protection to Production initiative across Sub-Saharan Africa. Pamela has over 30 years of experience working with international organizations. Previously she worked at the FAO investment center making connections with the World Bank, IFAD and the African Development Bank, among others, to design large-scale investment programs focused on targeting and integrating youth and gender equality.

MARI KANGASNIEMI
FAO Rome
Mari’s research focuses on the labor market, as well as empirical studies on migration, job satisfaction and productivity; she is currently conducting a micro simulation model for Zambia. Prior to joining FAO, Mari worked with multiple research institutions in Finland and the United Kingdom, including the Labour Institute for Economic research in Helsinki. Mari holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Essex.
